Ritual Tools
So, here we are..... Ritual tools! Do they make you a "witch"? No! The Magick is within You! So why do we need all these nice shiny things? Focus! These are the tools that focus the mind, especially while you are learning the art, and are also what you use to focus your power. In the way that the power of a laser is focused through a diamond and released to its destination with pinpoint accuracy, that is what the tools described mean to you.
Don't get me wrong, there are rituals and spells you can do with nothing but your mind and they will be as effective but there are times, especially if you practice High Magick that tools are required. They also represent the elements and can be charged as such to release the power of an element into your spell-working.
But what about the value of these things? Is it better to buy the best or to make your own? That is entirely up to you! At the end of the day, it is what you put into that tool, how you use that tool that counts not the cost.
What ever choices you make as to the style of tools you choose, remember, your ritual tools are sacred and should be treated with reverence and respect. Allow only those whose energy you want affecting your magick to pick up your wand.
