Magick
Candle Magick is easy to undertake and you don't need to buy fancy candles at 5x the price of an ordinary coloured candle just because it says it has been imbued with special powers and comes with instructions on how to do the spell!
However, if you are short of time and want to use a ready made one then there is nothing wrong in that either.
The main reason for using coloured candles is to call upon the magick of colour, though some are specific to candle magick in their meaning and are listed below. Choose your candle according to the purpose of your ritual. Choose an appropriate oil to anoint the candle. To banish something, start from of the middle of the shaft of the candle and apply to oil in upward strokes and then downwards. To draw something in reverse the direction so the oil is anointed towards the middle.
Now sit with the candle and visualise the power of the divine flowing through you and into the candle whilst focusing on the desired outcome of the spell.
As you light the candle, you may want to chant, invoke a particular deity, or recite a spell to reinforce your intent.
